Kathmandu: Nepal Telecom has introduced a special “SEE Offer 2082” targeting students appearing in the Secondary Education Examination, aiming to make communication services more accessible during the exam period. The offer will remain valid for three months, starting from Chaitra 26 until Asar 25, according to the company.
Under the scheme, students can purchase a new SIM card for just Rs 20 from Nepal Telecom offices across the country. The SIM comes preloaded with Rs 10 main balance, which can be used for calls, SMS, or data across any network. Once activated, users will receive daily benefits for 30 days, including 20 minutes of on-net voice calls, 10 SMS, and 500 MB of data.
In addition, the company is offering bonus packages on recharges during the offer period. Students who recharge Rs 50 or more will receive extra benefits such as 500 MB data, 50 minutes of on-net calls, and 50 on-net SMS. However, these bonuses must be used within three days.
To obtain a new SIM, students must submit a copy of their SEE admit card or Grade 10 marksheet, a passport-sized photo, and a copy of their own or their guardian’s citizenship or ID. After receiving the SIM, activation can be done by dialling *1414#, while the offer can be activated by dialling *1600# and following the instructions.
Existing Nepal Telecom users are also eligible for the offer. They can activate it by dialling *1600# and entering their SEE symbol number (excluding alphabet characters) along with their date of birth.
The company has continued this offer following its success in previous years and growing interest among students, expressing confidence that it will provide meaningful support to the student community.
