Kathmandu: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has distributed stationery and educational materials to students of Jankalyan Basic School as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.

The bank provided educational support to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through its Narayangadh branch office.

During a special program, the bank’s Narayangadh regional head, Surendra Bhandari, handed over the educational materials to school management committee chairperson Dal Bahadur Sinjali.

A total of 138 students studying from nursery to grade eight at the school received various educational supplies.

The distributed materials included alphabet and number charts, ABCD and other educational charts, charts related to days of the week and months, nursery-level learning materials, pencil colours, notebooks, pencils, play-based learning materials for children, and educational equipment for nursery classes.

Speaking at the event, Sinjali expressed gratitude to the bank for its support, saying the educational materials would significantly help make the learning process easier and more effective for students.

He added that such initiatives not only boost the morale of students studying in community schools but also create a positive impact in the education sector.
