Kathmandu: Kamana Sewa Development Bank has distributed stationery materials to students of Bal Shiksha Niketan Basic School in Waling as part of its corporate social responsibility initiative.
Through its Waling branch office, the bank provided educational supplies to students from low-income families studying at the school.
Shib Kumar Dhakal, the bank’s Pokhara regional head, handed over notebooks, pens, and other stationery items to the students during the program.
More than 100 students studying from nursery to Grade 8 received various educational materials at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, School Management Committee Chairperson Bimal Aryal expressed gratitude to the bank for its support, stating that the stationery assistance would help make the students’ learning process easier and more effective.
Dhakal said the bank believes such support will further encourage students in their studies and help improve their educational experience.
The program was attended by bank employees, members of the school management committee, the school principal, teachers, and students.
