NIC Asia Bank launches dedicated online portal to streamline asset auction process

Katjmandu: NIC Asia Bank Limited has introduced a specialized online portal designed to offer comprehensive information regarding the auction of banking, non-banking, and collateral-secured assets under its ownership.

The bank stated that this digital initiative aims to provide customers with seamless access to all relevant details concerning the properties and assets slated for auction, ensuring a more efficient browsing experience.

According to the official press release, interested parties can access the portal by scanning the QR code included in published auction notices or by visiting the dedicated website link directly. To ensure a user-friendly experience, the portal includes detailed specifications such as plot numbers, total area, photographs, and architectural maps. Furthermore, the bank has integrated Google Maps into the system, allowing potential buyers to pinpoint the exact geographic location of the assets, which significantly simplifies the process of assessing property conditions on-site.

To enhance customer engagement and address specific inquiries, the bank has also incorporated a communication feature within the portal. Prospective buyers requiring further information about a particular asset can use the built-in message box to submit their contact details along with their query. The bank has committed to providing personalized assistance and further clarifications based on the messages received through this channel.

Jayendra Rawal, Assistant CEO and Chief Information Officer of the bank, highlighted that the portal will be regularly updated with new listings and the latest auction notices. By leveraging this modern technology, NIC Asia Bank expects to make the auction process more transparent, accessible, and customer-centric. The bank encourages interested investors and buyers to utilize the portal to gather in-depth information and take advantage of upcoming auction opportunities.
