Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal has announced plans to facilitate and streamline the process for Nepali citizens to invest abroad, marking a significant shift in the country’s economic policy.
Finance Minister Dr Swarnim Waglé shared this strategic intention while presenting the federal budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84 during a joint session of the Federal Parliament.
By easing the legal and procedural barriers to outward investment, the government aims to provide citizens with greater financial flexibility and better integrate the domestic economy with global markets, potentially opening new avenues for wealth diversification and international business engagement for Nepalese nationals.
