Kathmandu: B & B Tech Group has officially entered the digital service market with the launch of “Timro Ticket,” a mobile application designed to streamline e-ticketing across Nepal.
During the unveiling, full-stack developer Ashwin Sunar highlighted the app’s user-centric design and robust features, emphasizing its role in modernizing how tickets are handled for concerts, sports, cultural festivals, and various public gatherings. By offering a secure and efficient digital alternative to traditional paper tickets, the platform aims to simplify the management process for organizers while providing a seamless purchasing experience for the general public.
The introduction of “Timro Ticket” is expected to play a pivotal role in fostering a digital ticketing culture within Nepal, potentially elevating the standards of the domestic event management industry. The group’s leadership expressed confidence that this technological leap will have a far-reaching impact on both the tech and creative sectors. The initiative aligns with a broader vision to replace outdated manual systems with data-driven, convenient solutions that cater to the evolving needs of a digitally-savvy population.
B & B Tech Group’s journey began in 2018, founded by school-time friends Dr Bikash Lamsal and Engineer Bimal Kumar KC. Since rebranding in 2022, the company has consistently expanded its focus on high-level technology research and development. The group has already made significant strides on the international stage, establishing strong partnerships with prestigious Japanese entities like Kajima Corporation and NAIT Corporation, as well as the global tech giant IBM. This international exposure has allowed the firm to integrate global best practices into its domestic products and services.
In addition to the app launch, the event marked the formalization of a major strategic collaboration between B & B Tech Group, the B & B Technical Research Institute, Fishtail Academy Bridge, and Hakim Entertainment. This alliance seeks to create a multifaceted platform that integrates technology, academic research, education, and entertainment.
