Chandrapur (Rautahat): A free eye check-up camp was held in Gaur, benefiting over 500 individuals on Saturday. The Gaur Eye Hospital and Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangha jointly conducted eye check-ups at three different sites as part of an extensive health campaign.

This initiative was aimed at individuals of all ages, from children to senior citizens. In collaboration with the Seva Foundation, a specialized eye check-up programme was organized for children from both private and public schools. The eye tests and consultations were carried out by Ophthalmologist Shiv Kumar Yadav, vision specialist Poonam Yadav, and a technical team comprising approximately 15 members.

During the check-up, free glasses were provided to 83 visually impaired children. Ophthalmologist Yadav emphasized that the prompt identification and treatment of visual impairments can significantly enhance children’s academic performance and daily activities.
